Privacy & Accessibility Review
A preliminary review of your forms, privacy notice and accessible content, with clear points to involve a specialist.
Step 1
Define the goal
You’ll do a practical first review of privacy and accessibility basics. This is not a legal or compliance audit; it shows where to improve and when to involve a qualified specialist.
Learn the background first: Lesson 18: Privacy, accessibility and website responsibilities
Step 2
Gather information
Collect only what you need for this exercise. Tick each one as you have it ready.
The Site Desk never asks for passwords, card numbers or other secrets. Keep those in a password manager.
Step 3
Follow the instructions
- 1Forms
For each form, list the fields and ask: do we use this?
- 2Privacy notice
Does it name what you collect, why, who receives it and how to ask for deletion?
- 3Keyboard test
Use only Tab, Shift+Tab and Enter. Can you reach and use every link, button and form? Can you see where you are?
- 4Zoom and contrast
Zoom to 200%. Is everything still usable? Run the WAVE checker for missing alt text and low contrast.
