Define the goal
You’ll test your pages with Google’s PageSpeed Insights, record the results yourself and turn them into a short, prioritized fix list. The Site Desk doesn’t run the test or invent scores; you record what Google shows you.

Gather information
Collect only what you need for this exercise. Tick each one as you have it ready.
The Site Desk never asks for passwords, card numbers or other secrets. Keep those in a password manager.

Follow the instructions
- 1Run the test
Open pagespeed.web.dev, paste your page address and press Analyze. Choose the Mobile tab.
- 2Real-world data first
If your site has enough visitors, the top section (“Discover what your real users are experiencing”) shows real Chrome data and whether you pass Core Web Vitals. Note LCP, INP and CLS.
- 3Then the lab test
Below that is a lab test with a Performance score from 0 to 100. It changes a little each run, so run it two or three times.
- 4Note the top issues
Under “Diagnose performance issues”, write down the first two or three items in your own words (for example “images too large”).
